Steeped in Bluegrass, Blues and American Roots Music, The Desperate Bastards bring an energy and love for improvisation and tradition bound with modern edges. Their bag is deep, drawing from old standards, classic rock tunes, swampy blues, traditional fiddle tunes as well as original compositions.
John Till is a solo acoustic act with slide guitar, banjo, and acoustic guitar come arrangements steeped heavily in the fingerpicking styles of the Delta Blues. Bouncing baselines and dancing melodies driven along with two part foot percussion provide a uniquely dynamic listening experience.

Matt Krahula is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer signed to Pacific Records Over his spanning career as a musician, Krahula has been based out of New York, Honolulu, and now sunny Illinois

Scott is known for his work with Backyard Tire Fire, The Mighty Blue Kings, Cornmeal, Cesar Rosas & The Chi-Town Playboys, Allie & The Night Krals, Kofi Baker and has played with such artists as Los Lobos, Peter Himmelman, Wayne Baker Brooks and more. He has two solo records released including this year’s The Fade. Joined by Adam Gardner and Justin O’Connell, the trio will focus on some originals and some covers based on the blues, soul and rock and roll they all grew up with.

Aaron Kelly was never on American Idol, but did grow up on the edge of the Chicago megalopolis, falling under the influence of John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, and empathy, his songs are carefully crafted and made to last.

Founded in August of 2021, Union Avenue has brought gritty rockabilly, jump blues and old-style country music to audiences across the Midwest. The recipe of astounding vocals supported by vintage electric guitar, upright “slap style” bass, and rock-inspired drums has been an instant success at venues and festivals alike.
The energy and vibrance of the early 1950’s birth of rockabilly is showcased as is rowdy jump blues in lively shows that include rare, unissued songs from the “Sun Records” era as well as new interpretations of more recent cuts, not only from the United States, but also from impressive artists from around the world.
Christopher Myers fronts the band in 1950’s era clothing which brings an authentic visual element to the stage, while his incredible vocals sonically capture the audience. Supported by hypnotizing slap bass rhythms by Steve Knecht and driven by the powerful drumbeats of Francis Lucente, song after song draws the audience in, wondering what will happen next.

With over 14 albums produced, Singer-songwriter, Noah Gabriel is one of the most prolific singer-songwriters on the local music scene. Ryan Carney blends an improvisational layer of cinematic cello to Noah's music, adding distortion and wah pedals at times to give it an unpredictable sprit that's more in tune with the likes of Jimmy Page, or Jimi Hendrix on lead guitar. Christopher Palmerin bridges it all together with a cajon kit that keeps the groove tight and light. The Trio performs much of Noah's original portfolio in addition to some of our favorite tunes by The Beatles, Chris Cornell, Tears For Fears, Elton John, Pearl Jam and more.
