Brandon is a Carpentersville, IL-based songwriter, violinist, and guitar player. He fronts the Brandon Reisdorf Quartet, playing original tunes and frequently collaborates with several Chicago-area bands playing violin/fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and singing.
After being introduced to the violin in ’99 and the guitar a year later, his dedication to music led to degrees in Music Theory, Composition, and Philosophy in college. He explored a wide range of musical styles and eventually found himself attracted to writing songs in the folk and Americana traditions.
Brandon was inspired by legends like John Prine and Kris Kristofferson, resulting in his debut album, “Political Songs for Political People,” released during the 2020 election season. Since then, he has been actively recording and preparing for his next album, slated for a 2024 release.
